Payment method

Card payments are instant and secured by Stripe. A small processing fee covers the card network cost. Your reservation fee is charged today, securely via Stripe — and refunded in full if we can't confirm your booking. (Paying by bank transfer? You only transfer after we confirm.) First month's rent + deposit are always paid in person at check-in.
How it works
  • Reserve now with just your name, email and dates — pay the refundable fee securely via Stripe.
  • Right after payment, add a photo of your passport or national ID (10 MB max) to confirm your identity.

Review your reservation

Check everything on the right is correct. A small reservation fee secures the room today; first month's rent and deposit are paid in person at check-in.

Cancellation policy

  • Reservation fee is fully refunded if you cancel within 24 hours of booking — no questions asked.
  • After the 24-hour window the reservation fee is not refunded — it covers holding the room and our admin work.
  • Once we confirm your reservation you have 48 hours to bank-transfer your last month's rent — that secures the room for the full stay. We hold the room for up to 7 days for the transfer to clear; after that it's released and your reservation expires.
  • If Placetostay cancels for any reason, you receive a full refund of every payment made.
  • First month's rent and security deposit are paid in person at check-in.
